Chelsea's main problem?
Not that I give a fuck, but the main problem (main - there's many other's) seems to me is they take 3-4 passes when 1 would do the same thing therefore slowing the game down hugely.

Not talking about a long ball pass here, simply play the ball quicker and easier with one pass rather than 2 or 3 to get the same result.

Watched the game on Monday and they were fucking terrible getting it from one side of the park to the other - by the time Willian or Hazard rec'd it they had been marked and/or Leicester had got bodies behind the ball in numbers.

I was always taught to make the ball do the work - it still applies - as quick, efficient passing beats this tip tap bullshit that most players seem to think they need to of nowadays.

That - and have a shot every now and then - Lampard summed it up before the game started - if you don't shoot you don't score and Chelsea were guilty of that all night.

They are a mess and I don't care a jot -Mourinho is out of his depth now and they have no players to pull it around anytime soon.

Amazing how they've fallen from last years success but bollocks to them. I'd prefer it to be Spur's if they ever got into that situation, but Chelsea's demise will do very nicely.

If we can finish top 6, Chelsea continue to stink, & Spur's & Liverpool fall apart it'll be a good season for me.

Definately something to do with that female physio

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
I would tell the players to play 442 and get stuck in like the teams around them in the league. Players who don't like it would be told they will be fucking off in January. No point trying to play intricate football if their form is shit and egos bruised.

Bar Willian and Courtois, they are all playing below par, especially that dirty cunt, Costa

Could have gone here but then you don't actually like to post unless you start a new thread do you?

this goes much MUCH deeper than moving the ball more quickly from one end to the other.

I am enjoying their demise rather than trying to analyse where and why it went wrong for them?

Good . . . . . .

Lets put our brain power and focus on supporting the rip roaring , goal scoring hammers . . . !!!!!!

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
They have their best RB playing LB.

Ivanovic and Terry are past it.

Cahill has never been that great.

Fabregas isn't really suited to defensive duties and having only Matic doesn't win them the ball back as quickly as they used to.

Diego Costa is a mental thug that doesn't seem as good as everyone first thought.

All that said, it's amazing just how lost they seem as a club and I think their main problem must be off the pitch.

I'm enjoying their glory hunting new generation suffering like supporters of normal football clubs for once.

Hazard looks wank. Not scored a single goal which is fabulous considering how many he got last season.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
They have players like Costa, lumps, terry, wise & morris. Innovators of the 15 x 10 L shaped overheated changing room. One open turnstile for the away teams supporters. Stewards who pick fights with the away supporters. mourinho. Know nothing supporters from anywhere & everywhere who’ve usually switched allegiance.

To summarise. They’re a team of cunts, run, assisted & supported by cunts.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
If I was their manager, I'd play 7 across the back . 2 sitting in front of them, and John Terry as rhe lone forward. I'd also put Hazard in goal.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
They don't know how to scrap, basically. They've never been in this position before and manager and players alike, have no idea what it's like to scrap for points. It's beneath them.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
Alvin Martin said the same on Talksport last night Cosmo..... it is more difficult mentally to play in a relegation threatened team and none of them have done it before..... hopefully the pressure will increase and they will implode futher!!

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
There are clearly players that are fucked of with JM so instead of keep picking them why doesn't he pick some of the other 500 of whatever it is players on their books?

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
Nobody practices slow un-incisive passing - it's usually an effect of low confidence and failure than a cause imo.

My takeaway thought from Chelsea's collapse is the importance of change - they sat on the best squad in the Prem from last season, and that element of complacency and predictability might be fatal in the modern game even at the highest level. And with a lot of teams now looking to attack as the best form of defence, Chelsea find their own approach entirely off-meta.

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
The problem is MOURINHO.

In whatever walk of life, if I had a "manager" like him now, I wouldn't turn up and be my best. Bloke is a massive fist. And always has been.

Chelsea still have good players, no question. Been fucked up by the Special Needs One. Long may it continue.

He used the physio as a scapegoat and publicly said hazard was acting when injured

Players turned against mourinho

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
If he was available tomorrow, would you get Mourinho in straight away?

I only ask as I noticed on TWITTER the other day that a former WHO controversy stirrer was suggesting he would. For reaction of course I'm sure

Re: Chelsea's main problem?
I think the league has caught up with them, TV money is starting to take hold. 10 years ago the Russians money was a deciding factor now he's just one of many in the game with that kind of cash.

It amuses me no end.
